Gap asked us to redesign the training systems used to introduce new product lines. The previous training system resembled a magazine, with fashion spreads and lengthy product descriptions. The production schedule was long and they were expensive to produce. They wanted to convey product information in smaller, easier-to-digest units. We created a new modular layout with a system of instructional icons, informational call outs, and brief product descriptions to educate sales associates on new products. This new system cut production time and cost dramatically while communicating strong brand and seasonal messaging.
