The Gap culture encourages employees to appreciate each others’ efforts. They developed a campaign where any employee could recognize another individual or group for being Bold, Easy, Real. We designed an easy to use intranet site, with appreciation cards and certificates that employees could select, fill in personal recognition details and send to their teammates in three steps.
We developed an iconography set to represent the behaviors of: competitive, connected, courageous, creative, clear, customer-obsessed and shine. The colors chosen worked within the Gap brand guidelines. Employees loved the ability to recognize teammates and this campaign was widely utilized.
